Made for my Grandmother's birthday last year.  I think it looks very nice on her ;-)

A rose, of sorts, made for Joanna's hat.

Feb 22 - Blue Hat

 This hat was made for my third roommate, Erin.  It is exactly the same hat I made for Joanna (see Feb 15), but looks a lot different because of the difference in the yarn.

Feb 21 - Blue Flower

This is the flower attached the headband that Brian modeled.  I figured it was fair to post the flower as its own entry since I'm pretty sure no one was looking at the headband in that last picture...

Feb 20 - Pumpkin Hat

So my little brother requested for Christmas last year an orange, green, and purple hat.  It ended up looking shockingly like a pumpkin.  Also I may have used the wrong size needles and made a very large hat - which only contributes more to the pumpkin imagery.

This hat was the first attempt at the hat I made for Jason for Christmas (See the infamous green hat #2).  I accidentally used the wrong  size needles and it ended up as a baby hat.  Luckily I as able to find an adorable baby to wear it.

Feb 10 - The infamous green hat #1

Sarah made this hat for me while we were in Italy.  It had to be re-made 3 times before it would fit a human head.  I'm pretty sure this yarn is cursed because the same thing happened to me when I tried to use it.  (Look for green hats 2 & 3 to follow...)

After making this I decided that it was absolutely not worth it to use a cable stitch.  Ever.  It looks cool, but takes WAY too long.  I never even made the other glove...

Feb 1 - The purple hat from Legally Blonde

I learned how to knit last fall (mostly from youtube) and I now have quite a collection of things I've made.  I don't have quite enough to fill an entire month yet, even though I picked the shortest month, but we'll see how it goes.  Some of the things I post will be made by my roommate and I'll be sure to indicate that so she gets proper credit :)

A couple months ago Sarah and I were watching Legally Blonde and she was like 'I love her hat, I wish I had one like that' and I was like 'ok.'  Turns out the hat was crocheted (which I don't know how to do) so I had to improvise.  I guess technically this could count as 2 things because I knit the flower too.
